Pound-for-pound rankings: Spence, GGG, Usyk all fought ... where did they land?

Boxing

Who is the world's best fighter, regardless of weight class? Check out ESPN's latest top 10.

Our ESPN panel of Dan Rafael, Andre Ward, Timothy Bradley Jr., Joe Tessitore, Teddy Atlas, Steve Kim, Bernardo Pilatti, Eric Raskin, Nick Parkinson, Nigel Collins, Charles Moynihan and Salvador Rodriguez share their lists.

Showtime boxing analyst Eric Raskin pulled Oleksandr Usyk out of the top 10 with a simple and valid explanation.

"It's a matter of pound-for-pound philosophy," Raskin said. "If Usyk is now a heavyweight, I believe he should be judged as such and not given extra credit for being smaller than other heavyweights. For example, in the early 2000s, nobody ranked Chris Byrd above Lennox Lewis pound-for-pound, even though Byrd was arguably better on a per-pound basis. We simply don't know yet if Usyk is elite in this division. I don't rank Wilder, Fury or Ruiz in my pound-for-pound top 10, so until I see some evidence to suggest Usyk will succeed against some of those top heavyweights, I feel it's appropriate to remove him from my top 10 pound-for-pound."

Don't forget to also check out Dan Rafael's divisional rankings, which are updated weekly.
