The 2022 NCAA tournament has reached its Final Four, and while this past week saw the madness end in upset fashion for Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren and Purdue's Jaden Ivey, the journey continues for Duke's Paolo Banchero and AJ Griffin.
Holmgren fouled out of what is expected to be his final collegiate game after putting up 11 points and 14 rebounds over 23 minutes in the Bulldogs' Sweet 16 loss to Arkansas. Meanwhile, Ivey and the Boilermakers' pursuit of the Elite Eight ended against Cinderella 15-seed Saint Peter's.
Banchero, the highest-ranked NBA prospect remaining in the tournament, recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 rebounds as Duke sent coach Mike Krzyzewski to his record 13th Final Four with a win over Arkansas.
ESPN's NBA draft experts Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz have been glued to the March Madness action all weekend. Givony's updated NBA mock draft is below, and Givony and Schmitz provide the latest observations on Holmgren, Banchero, Griffin, Ivey, Arizona guard Bennedict Mathurin and more.
Note: The projected 2022 draft order is based on ESPN BPI draft projections as of Saturday. The full 1-58 order also reflects picks owed and owned.
