          NFL teams hope to build confidence with pregame looks ahead of Week 2 action

          This remains one of Primetime's most spot-on adages from a Hall of Fame career rich on fashionable wisdoms and touchdowns.

          The second Sunday of the NFL season has officially arrived, and plenty of the most notable players have brought out their Sunday best to boost their confidence in Week 2. All teams in the NFC and AFC West divisions kicked off the season with victories, while the playoff hopeful Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys fell short in their respective comeback bids.

          Week 2 will be rich on stylish matchups, such as Lamar Jackson leading the Baltimore Ravens against Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs. With Jackson as starting quarterback, Baltimore is winless in three matchups against Kansas City, marking the 2019 MVP's worst record against a single opponent (30-5 against all others).

          With another full slate of Sunday football now upon us, let's see what pregame looks the NFL's best players are wearing ahead of stepping on the field.

          Los Angeles Rams

          DT Aaron Donald

          The Rams enter this game seeking to start 2-0 for the fourth consecutive season. In last week's 34-14 victory over the Chicago Bears, Donald managed to record a sack among his three total tackles.

          The six-time All-Pro selection ranks second among all players with 14.5 sacks dating back to last season. Here is Donald's pregame look ahead of visiting the Indianapolis Colts. He looks well prepared to pose problems for an Indy team seeking to avoid its first 0-2 start since 2017.

          San Francisco 49ers

          WR Deebo Samuel

          In San Fran's road win against the Detroit Lions, Samuel finished with a career-high 189 receiving yards on nine receptions.

          The third-year wideout brought out quite the Burberry letterman jacket with some impressive neckwear. This is most certainly an example of Sanders' point about looking good and playing good.

          With 100 receiving yards against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Samuel could set the 49ers' record for the most yardage through two games.

          Yes, even more than Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.

          Denver Broncos

          RB Melvin Gordon III, WR Courtland Sutton, DB Kareem Jackson, FS Justin Simmons

          The Broncos' 14-point win over the Giants in Week 1 marked the team's largest in a season opener since 2013, when they finished the season 13-3 before losing to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

          Gordon's 70-yard rushing touchdown in the final quarter was key in sealing Denver's 27-13 victory last week. It was the second-longest touchdown run of his career.

          It will be interesting how the Broncos build off their season-opening win. They enter Week as a six-point favorite against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have lost 16 straight games dating back to last season. This is Denver's first time as a six-point favorite since 2014.

          Chicago Bears

          RB David Montgomery

          Montgomery kicked off his third NFL season with 108 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 attempts. Though Chicago lost 34-14, the Cincinnati native seemed quite excited to host his hometown team ahead of Chicago's Week 2 matchup.

          Check out Montgomery's pregame sneaker choice. Sunday could prove to be a historic day for Montgomery, who enters Week 2 with a rushing touchdown in six straight games. Scoring another today would tie him with Walter Payton (1976) and Gale Sayers (1969) for the longest such streak in Bears history.

          Buffalo Bills

          WR Stefon Diggs

          The Bills are hoping to avoid their first 0-2 start since 2018, when they finished 6-10. Buffalo scored only 16 points as All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs caught nine passes for 69 yards.

          While those numbers are plenty respectable, one could only assume Diggs has bigger things in store in Buffalo's visit against the Miami Dolphins. In Week 2 on South Beach last season, he finished with eight receptions and a season-high 153 yards in Buffalo's 31-28 win. Check out the Bad Boys theme for his cleats ahead of Sunday's action.

          Dallas Cowboys

          QB Dak Prescott, G Zack Martin, G Connor Williams, RB Ezekiel Elliott, CB Jourdan Lewis

          Looking clean as ever, Prescott leads the Cowboys in a road visit against the Los Angeles Chargers after passing for 403 yards in Dallas' Week 1 loss. He has an opportunity to become the first player in NFL history with 400 passing yards in three straight road games.

          Elliott appears ready to get into his bag after recording just 39 scrimmage yards in the Cowboys' opener. That marked his second-lowest single-game total as a pro. Thankfully, his offensive linemen -- led by four-time All-Pro Zack Martin -- look ready for business. Dallas enters Week 2 with three straight losses against the Chargers.

          Atlanta Falcons

          TE Kyle Pitts

          Atlanta's prized rookie, who played three seasons with the Florida Gators, returned to the Sunshine State ahead of visiting the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pitts sported an impressive checkered blazer upon reaching Raymond James Stadium.

          He recorded four receptions on eight targets in his NFL debut against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. The Falcons, who enter Week 2 with six straight losses, might need more from Pitts as the Buccaneers seek their first 10-game win streak in franchise history (including playoffs).

          Seattle Seahawks

          Jeff and DeDe Schumaier

          Fans can be fashionable, too. Such truth readily applies to the Schumaiers, who are also known as Mr. and Mrs. Seahawk. Ahead of Seattle hosting the Tennessee Titans, this pair of Seahawks superfans offered a peek into how they prepare to support their beloved squad.

          Seattle enters Week 2 seeking its third straight 2-0 start. A win against Tennessee would also push Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson (108) past Marv Levy and Jim Kelly for the sixth-most wins by a head coach/QB duo in the Super Bowl era (including playoffs).

          It's safe to say Mr. and Mrs. Seahawk will be tuned into another layer of franchise history.

          Kansas City Chiefs

          CB L'Jarius Sneed, WR Demarcus Robinson, P Tommy Townsend, TE Jody Fortson Jr.

          Here is a shot of a few Kansas City players arriving in Baltimore ahead of the Ravens hosting the Chiefs. All eyes will most certainly be on Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson in this matchup, but Kansas City will need the entire roster to look, feel and play its best to ensure the team's fifth straight 2-0 start.

          Here is a shot of Mahomes walking into M&T Bank Stadium looking business as usual. His attire is that of a superstar signal-caller ready for primetime football.

          For his career, Mahomes has a Total QBR of 79 in primetime games. That figure trails only Jackson (80) among qualified starters since the metric was introduced in 2006 (min.10 games).

          Baltimore Ravens

          QB Lamar Jackson, WR Marquise Brown, CB Marlon Humphrey

          Two of the Raven's most critical offensive weapons pulled up ready to host the defending AFC champion Chiefs tonight. Brown, whose six receptions in Week 1 included a touchdown, sported a Givenchy letterman jacket as Jackson reserved the flash for his jewelry.

          Humphrey, as the Ravens' social media team points out, is always ready for the pre-game runway.

          We will see if Baltimore's pre-game confidence can help avoid the team's first 0-2 start since 2015, when the Ravens finished 5-11.
