          Five stats to know for the Survivor Series match between Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles

          At the 31st annual Survivor Series on Sunday, November 19, Monday Night Raw's champions will compete against SmackDown Live's champions in four nontitle matches, headlined by Universal champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE champion AJ Styles.

          Here's five stats you need to know heading into this blockbuster matchup:

          1. The last "champion vs. champion" match in a WWE pay-per-view event was at SummerSlam in 2015 when WWE champion Seth Rollins defeated United States champion John Cena. With that victory, Rollins became the first superstar in WWE history to simultaneously hold both titles. However, at Survivor Series, neither Lesnar's Universal championship nor Styles' WWE championship will be on the line.

          2. Survivor Series will be the first-ever match between Lesnar and Styles. Both superstars did compete in the 2016 Royal Rumble match, which was also Styles' WWE debut. However, both men were never in the ring at the same time.

          Styles will try to become the first superstar to defeat Lesnar in their first one-on-one encounter since Goldberg at WrestleMania XX in 2004. Superstars are 0-7 in such matches since Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012.

          3. At Survivor Series, Lesnar will have been Universal champion for 231 days, the longest reign in the short history of the title and the longest world-title reign of any kind since CM Punk's 434-day reign as WWE champion in 2011-13. Lesnar now owns two of the three longest world title reigns of the past 10 years.

          4. However, Survivor Series is the one "big four" WWE pay-per-view event at which Lesnar has never won a match. It was at Survivor Series in 2002 where Lesnar was pinned for the first time in his career, losing the WWE championship to the Big Show. Last year at this event, Lesnar lost to a returning Goldberg in a shocking 1 minute, 26 seconds.

          5. Styles defeated Jinder Mahal on SmackDown Live on Nov. 7 to become a two-time WWE champion. He is the sixth superstar in WWE history to become a multiple-time WWE champion within his first two years in the company, a group that happens to include Lesnar.
