CERTAINTIES
Niall Seewang: It's going to be wet and wild in Ballarat this weekend, which the Western Bulldogs will love. Adelaide seem to have mentally checked out of the season already and the Dogs should claim this win, and a finals spot.
Jake Michaels: After last weekend's dominant performance, I'll take North Melbourne to finish a roller coaster season with a win over the lowly Demons. Melbourne have nothing to play for, but the Kangaroos will be trying to build momentum for next season, and have incentive to score big with Ben Brown hoping to lock away the Coleman Medal.
Matt Walsh: I'm going to with the most trustworthy tip of the year and tip against the Gold Coast Suns. GWS will be desperate to find some form leading into finals and smashing the Suns will be just what they need.
Christian Joly: In a tight race for the minor premiership, Geelong need to win to give themselves a shot at the title and they should do so against the Blues. There's no reason they shouldn't buck their recent up and down form and put the heat on Brisbane to take first place on the ladder from them.
UPSETS
Niall Seewang: I might be getting swept up in how well Essendon played on the weekend, but I think they are a good chance to knock off the Pies on Friday night under lights at the 'G. They have the pace to trouble them and arguably could've beaten Collingwood once already this year on ANZAC day, so they might get up for the occasion.
Jake Michaels: The Teague Train is due for an upset, so I think the Blues could end Geelong's hopes of winning the minor premiership. Geelong might also be incentivised to not go so hard in this match, to avoid a potential matchup with Richmond in week one of the finals.
Matt Walsh: Assuming the MCG stays dry, Brisbane can start the finals mind games and knock off Richmond at the MCG and catapult themselves into premiership favouritism.
Christian Joly: It's been a long time coming but Brisbane should get their first win over Richmond since Round 7 2009. Brisbane are red hot and it's time that they take down the Tigers and show their premiership credentials.
