Port Adelaide vs. Richmond, Adelaide Oval, 4:35pm (AEST)
Team news: The Power are set to go with a dual ruck team, with Scott Lycett to join Peter Ladhams after injuring a knee in Round 6. Power defender Jarrod Lienert is set to replace suspended backman Sam Mayes, with utility Justin Westhoff dropped. At Tigerland, Josh Caddy and Dan Rioli come in for Trent Cotchin and Jack Higgins.

Prediction: Grand Final preview, anyone? There's a long way to go until the finals but these two teams are as strong as any so far this year. Both have won four from their past five encounters but Port's firepower up front (having scored the most points in the league) could prove the difference. However, an in-form Dustin Martin looms as a potential gamebreaker for the reigning premiers.
Result: Power 13.15 (93) defeated Richmond 11.6 (72)
Brisbane vs. Western Bulldogs, Gabba, 7:40pm (AEST)
Team news: Powerful forward Cam Rayner suffered a hamstring injury against Richmond, meaning he will miss out after playing 55 games in a row since his debut in Round 1, 2018. Sam Skinner, Connor Ballenden and Jack Payne are also out for the Lions. In comes Daniel Rich, Dan McStay, Grant Birchall and Matt Eagles for his first game in nearly two years.
The Dogs recall Aaron Naughton, Bailey Dale and Ryan Gardner for Roarke Smith, Hayden Crozier and Cody Weightman.
Prediction: Speaking of premiership candidates, the Lions are still right in the mix despite last weekend's loss to Richmond. Brisbane controlled parts of that contest but you don't win many games when you kick 4.17, so if the Lions get their kicking boots on, they should handle whatever the Bulldogs throw at them.

Sunday, August 9
West Coast vs. Carlton, Optus Stadium, 3:35pm (AEST)
Team news: Big changes at both clubs. Star Eagle Jeremy McGovern failed to prove his fitness but West Coast have recalled midfielder Jack Redden (quad) and Josh Rotham in place of Harry Edwards (concussion) and Brayden Ainsworth (dropped). he Blues will be without injured forwards Harry McKay (knee soreness) and David Cuningham (calf), while Callum Moore was axed. Matt Cottrell will make his debut, while Zac Fisher is back for his first game since Round 1. Tom De Koning has also been named.
Prediction: The Eagles have finally found their rhythm after a lacklustre start to the season, but what to make of the Blues? They've gone loss-win-loss-win-loss in their past five games and looked horrible against Hawthorn in Round 10. At their best, Carlton have been as good as any, but too often they lapse within games and fail to arrest the momentum when it's against them. If they do that against West Coast, it could get ugly.
Score: West Coast 11.6 (72) defeated Carlton 7.8 (50).
Melbourne vs. North Melbourne, Adelaide Oval, 6:10pm (AEST)
Team news: Melbourne have been hit by two big unavailabilities, with captain Max Gawn (shoulder/back) and key midfielder Jack Viney (concussion) ruled out. Harley Bennell has been dropped for the second time this year and Jay Lockhart has been managed, while Tom McDonald, Kysaiah Pickett, Mitch Hannan, Charlie Spargo and Trent Rivers have been recalled. North's Ben Brown (knee) won't face the Dees, with the big forward to miss at least a couple of weeks. North coach Rhyce Shaw said on Saturday that Nick Larkey, Luke Davies-Uniacke and Sam Durdin will all play.
Prediction: This won't be much-watch TV for neutrals, but it could be a vital encounter in many ways. The Demons are still hunting consistency, and one good quarter against the Crows didn't paper over all the cracks in Simon Goodwin's team. North Melbourne put up a brave fight against the Cats and have won a whopping 18 of their past 19 games against the Dees. Adding further intrigue is the Roos holding Melbourne's first-round draft pick ... an upset win could pay huge draft day dividends for North Melbourne.
Score: Melbourne 13.14 (92) defeated North Melbourne 5.5 (35).
Monday, August 10
St Kilda vs. Geelong, Gabba, 6.10pm (AEST)
Team news: The Saints will welcome back skipper Jarryn Geary, who missed the Round 10 clash against the Suns. Jack Bytel also comes in for his first career game, while Zak Jones (rested) and Ed Phillips (omitted) go out of the side. Meanwhile, the Cats are managing Lachlan Fogarty, Sam Simpson and Zach Guthrie, in for them is the trio of Brandon Parfitt, Gary Rohan and Jake Kolodjashnij.
*Late news: Saints ruckman Paddy Ryder is a late out for Ed Phillips.
Prediction: This should be a belter of a contest. The Saints are flying and the Cats, despite recent losses to the Eagles and Magpies, are rightly still at the pointy end of the ladder. Two areas could give St Kilda a slight edge - their ruck duo of Rowan Marshall and Paddy Ryder, and the Saints' speed across the ground.
Score: St Kilda 4.10 (32) def. by Geelong 14.9 (93)

Fremantle vs. Hawthorn, Optus Stadium, 8.40pm (AEST)
Team news: Important Dockers Jesse Hogan and Stephen Hill may be passed fit to take on the Hawks, but star midfielder/forward Michael Walters (hamstring) will miss another week. The Hawks, meanwhile, have basically a full list to choose from, although veteran Shaun Burgoyne did leave the game against Carlton early with hamstring tightness.
Prediction: Which Hawthorn will turn up to face the Dockers - the one which obliterated Carlton or the one that was woefully out of form in previous weeks? The win over Carlton was a dramatic transformation for the Hawks, but Fremantle's victory against Collingwood was also meritorious. Both sides struggle to score, so whoever takes their chances best might win this arm-wrestle.

Adelaide vs. Collingwood, Adelaide Oval, 6.35pm (AEST)
Team news: Adelaide have named five changes, with Kyle Hartigan, Andrew McPherson, Brodie Smith, Tyson Stengle and Shane McAdam coming in for Jake Kelly, Chayse Jones, Lachie Murphy, Will Hamill and Daniel Talia. The Pies, meanwhile, have recalled forgotten duo Lynden Dunn and Tim Broomhead, as well as Travis Varcoe, Rupert Wills, Darcy Cameron and Chris Mayne, for injured quartet Isaac Quaynor, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Jamie Elliott and Adam Treloar, as well as Darcy Moore and Ben Reid.
Prediction: The Magpies are in pretty wobbly shape, dropping their past two and battling a number of injury and off-field issues. But they're cruising compared to the winless Crows, who are yet to taste victory under rookie coach Matthew Nicks. Surely this is a chance for the Pies to regain some semblance of form before it's too late.

Gold Coast vs. Essendon, Metricon Stadium, 7.10pm (AEST)
Team news: Key defender Michael Hurley has been managed alongside young ruckman Sam Draper and despite avoiding a facial fracture, Jacob Townsend will miss with concussion. Tom Bellchambers returns to the line-up alongside Dylan Clarke and Marty Gleeson. Stuart Dew has swung a big surprise, dropping 2019 leading goal kicker Alex Sexton following two goal-less games, with Nick Holman also dropped and last week's debutant Jeremy Sharp out injured. Number 11 pick Sam Flanders will make his Suns debut, with Josh Corbett and Brayden Fiorini to return to the senior side.
Prediction: Good luck to the tipsters on this one - two middle-of-the-table teams that are struggling with a severe bout of inconsistency. The Suns will be desperate to reverse their worrying trend of dropping away after bright starts to recent seasons, and the Bombers should be beatable on their home deck.
Tip: Suns by 2 points.
