FRIDAY, MAY 21

Brisbane vs. Richmond, Gabba, 7:50pm (AEDT)

Team news: Injuries have hit the Lions with Darcy Gardiner set to miss a chunk of time with a shoulder injury, while Ryan Lester will also have a couple of weeks off with a hamstring complaint. Their absence paves the way for Keidean Coleman and James Madden who. have both been named by the home side. The Tigers have made one change, with Jack Ross replacing youngster Rhyan Mansell (managed). Trent Cotchin (hamstring), Shai Bolton (wrist), Shane Edwards (ankle), Dion Prestia (calf), and Kane Lambert (calf) all remain on the sidelines.

ESPN tip: Lions by 17 points.

SATURDAY, MAY 22

Carlton vs. Hawthorn, MCG, 1:45pm (AEDT)

Team news: Improved Blue David Cuningham will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his ACL early on against the Dees, but the Blues have recalled Jack Silvagni, Tom De Koning and Michael Gibbons. Meanwhile, the Hawks have named their tallest ever player, with 211cm ruckman Ned Reeves set to make his AFL debut. Reeves is joined by Damon Greaves who has been elevated into the senior side, replacing omitted duo Tim O'Brien and Michael Hartley.

ESPN tip: Blues by 25 points.

Geelong vs. Gold Coast, GMHBA Stadium, 2:10pm (AEST)

Team news: The Cats have made two changes for their clash against the Suns, with Luke Dahlhaus and Jake Kolodjashnij replacing Jordan Clark and Zach Guthrie (both omitted) in the senior side. Gold Coast has named ruckman Zac Smith for his first AFL game since 2019, with Touk Miller, Nick Holman and Alex Sexton rounding out the inclusions. Jack Bowes (hamstring) and Jy Farrar (quad) will both miss through injury, while Bn Ainsworth and Malcolm Rosas Jnr have been omitted.

ESPN tip: Cats by 31 points.

Adelaide vs. Melbourne, Adelaide Oval, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: Melbourne has made a big statement dropping prized recruit Ben Brown after a quiet performance last week, with Luke Jackson to make his return. Kade Chandler has also been omitted. For the Crows, power forward Taylor Walker has been named after missing Round 9, joined by Ned McHenry and Nick Murray. Ronin O'Connor, Billy Frampton and Will Hamill have all ben omitted.

ESPN tip: Demons by 19 points.

Western Bulldogs vs. St Kilda, Marvel Stadium, 7:25pm (AEST)

Team news: ​Former Dogs skipper Easton Wood will miss around a month of football with a hamstring injury. Aaron Naughton, Josh Bruce, Tom Liberatore, Patrick Lipinski, Mitch Hannan and Anthony Scott were all on light duties at Whitten Oval on Tuesday after playing in a bruising 19-point win over Port Adelaide. Lachie Hunter returns after recovering from a broken hand, while Tim English remains sidelined with concussion. Saints co-captain Jarryn Geary will play his first game of the year after getting through the VFL unscathed last weekend, with big man Shaun McKernan joining him in the side to replace Rowan Marshall (injured), Ben Long and Tom Highmore (both omitted).

ESPN tip: Bulldogs by 14 points.

Fremantle vs. Sydney, Optus Stadium, 7:40pm (AEST)

Team news: Dockers defender Luke Ryan will make his return from a calf injury against thee Swans, while Josh Treacy also comes into the side. The pair replace Andrews Brayshaw (injured) and Taylin Duman (omitted). the Swans will make just one change from the side that beat Collingwood, with Dylan Stephens replacing Justin McInerny (managed).

SUNDAY, MAY 23

GWS vs. West Coast, Giants Stadium, 1:10pm (AEST)

Team news: The Giants have been rocked by news Toby Greene will miss a significant chunk of football after fracturing his shoulder against the Tigers while Harry Perryman's hamstring will likely keep him sidelined for a few weeks. In good news for the Giants, Nick Haynes and Sam Reid will both return. The Eagles have been boosted by the returns of star pair Shannon Hurn and Liam Ryan, but they will be without All-Australian defender Jeremy McGovern who succumbed to a knee injury last week.

ESPN tip: Eagles by 9 points.

Collingwood vs. Port Adelaide, MCG, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: Power key defender Tom Clurey is out for six weeks after he had surgery on a broken jaw, while Orazio Fantasia and Martin Frederick will also miss Sunday's date with Collingwood. Dan Houston and Lachie Jones headline the inclusions. For the Pies, star midfielder Taylor Adams will make a shock return from a knee injury after getting through main training this week. Joining the vice captain is defender Jordan Roughead who has recovered from concussion, with the pair. to replace omitted duo Oliver Henry and Mark Keane.

Essendon vs. North Melbourne, Marvel Stadium, 4:40pm (AEST)

Team news: Tarryn Thomas will line up for the Roos after successfully challenging his one-week ban for rough conduct, with the Roos making no omissions after claiming their first win of the season last week against Hawthorn. Alec Waterman and Nik Cox will replace Devon Smith (hamstring) and Brayden Ham (omitted) for the Bombers.
