Colts WR T.Y. Hilton is questionable against Denver

INDIANAPOLIS – Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos because of a foot injury, coach Chuck Pagano said Friday.

It’s surprising that Hilton is being listed as questionable because he hasn’t practiced all week. The Pro Bowl receiver worked with the training staff and ran on the treadmill Friday.

“We’ll see how he feels when he comes in (Saturday) morning, see what the byproduct of the work [he did Friday] and see how he feels,” Pagano said.

Hilton wore a boot on his left foot for most of the week after suffering the injury against Carolina on Monday.

If Hilton doesn’t play Sunday, there’s a possibility that the Colts could make a roster move by elevating receiver Duron Carter from the practice squad. Donte Moncrief, Andre Johnson and Griff Whalen would be the Colts’ top three receivers if they had to play a game today.

Pagano ruled linebacker Nate Irving out for the second straight game because of a knee injury.
