Saints' Drew Brees moonlights as crocodile hunter

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will tackle the Panamanian jungle -- and a live crocodile -- in tonight's episode of NBC's "Running Wild with Bear Grylls."

Based on some sneak peeks of the show, Brees conquers the croc after pouncing on its back. He also goes rappelling into a cave while navigating the jungle with the survival expert.

In a clip provided by NBC, Brees admits to being "terrified" before dropping into the cave, with Grylls offering the helpful reminder to "Protect your face." While about halfway down, Brees yells up, "I'm doing good," then turns to the camera and mutters, "I'm not doing good."

The two also appear to be using a deflated football as a base underneath the rope.

The episode is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. ET.

Get your game face ready. Drew Brees is joining Bear Grylls tomorrow on Running Wild.
