If there's a trend for Louisiana talent in 2013, it's versatility. Of the 12 Louisiana players in the ESPN 300, as many as six or seven project at multiple positions at the college level.
It starts at the top, with the state's top overall prospect in athlete Kendell Beckwith (Jackson, La./East Feliciana). The 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect lines up at linebacker, but there is no shortage of schools that would love to see him at defensive end.
The trend continues as you go down the list. Jeryl Brazil (Loranger, La./Loranger), the state's third overall prospect, will play cornerback in college but has shown more than adequate ability as a wide receiver. He'll also play quarterback this fall.
