As the summer camp season winds down, the chase for the nation's top prospects is becoming clearer. We've just had a chance to see the best go head to head at The Opening, which provides a much better idea of where everything stands with less than two months before football kicks off again.
Some players at The Opening, such as Elite 11 MVP Sean White (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./University School), should see their recruitments take off. And while the pursuit of others, like No. 1 OL Cameron Robinson (West Monroe, La./West Monroe), can't get much hotter, his decision will have wide-ranging implications in the SEC for years to come. The RecruitingNation writers who were in Beaverton, Ore., for The Opening spoke to all of the top prospects in attendance, and here is their breakdown on the top 10 recruiting battles involving players at the event.
Here is this week's panel of writers: Jeremy Crabtree (@jeremycrabtree), Mitch Sherman (@mitchsherman), Derek Tyson (@DerekTysonESPN) and Tom VanHaaren (@TomVH)

Sean White | @SeanWhite_12
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School | QB | 6-1/199 | ESPN 300 rank: NR
Commitment status: Undecided
Who's in the driver's seat: Auburn and South Carolina
Other candidates: Cincinnati, West Virginia, Syracuse
Dark horse: South Florida
In his words (via Twitter): "Proud to say that I am the 2013 Elite 11 MVP!!! One of the best weeks of my life, and a dream come true."
@DerekTysonESPN's take: After an MVP performance at the prestigious Elite 11 camp, White is sure to see his recruitment explode. He has unofficial visits planned to South Carolina and Auburn, but neither school has offered. Whichever does pull the trigger first, could immediately be in the driver's seat.
@RecruitingESPN ranks White's recruitment as the No. 10 battle in the country. Tweet us your opinion using the hashtag #BlueChipBattles.
