Jaguars' 53-man roster projection includes two backups for Gardner Minshew

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars open training camp on July 28 at the Dream Finders Homes practice facility adjacent to TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida, in a critical season for coach Doug Marrone. The Jaguars have won just 11 games the past two seasons following their surprising run to the AFC Championship Game in 2017 and owner Shad Khan is giving Marrone and GM Dave Caldwell a chance to prove they can turn things around without Tom Coughlin calling the shots. Here is a 53-man roster projection.

QUARTERBACK (3): Gardner Minshew, Mike Glennon, Josh Dobbs

Glennon was signed to add experience in the room, but the Jaguars like Dobbs -- they gave up a fifth-round pick for him in 2019 -- so they'll keep three on the roster.
