Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane told reporters Sunday that cornerback E.J. Gaines will opt out of the 2020 season.
Gaines, 28, missed all of last season because of a core muscle injury. The Bills re-signed Gaines to a one-year deal in March.
The Bills were expecting Gaines, a five-year veteran, to provide depth in their secondary this season.
