NRL Round 4: Teams, line-ups, tips, odds, everything you need to know for the weekend

And so we come to Round 4 of the 2025 NRL season and things have started to finally make some sense in terms of tipping form.

This week we have to work out whether the Panthers will find their true form against the surprisingly good Rabbitohs, whether the Bulldogs can beat the Sharks at Shark Park, and exactly what the record score in a Manly vs. Parra game is.

Good luck with your tips.

Thursday, March 27

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs. Penrith Panthers

Accor Stadium, 8pm (AEST)

Rabbitohs: 1. Jye Gray 2. Alex Johnston 3. Jack Wighton 4. Isaiah Tass 5. Mikaele Ravalawa 6. Cody Walker 7. Jamie Humphreys 8. Sean Keppie 9. Peter Mamouzelos 10. Davvy Moale 11. Officials
Referee:
Ashley Klein Touchies: Drew Oultram, Ziggy Przeklasa-Adamski Bunker: Chris Butler

Prediction: Souths' winning run came to an end last week against the Sharks, while the Panthers battled on well without Nathan Cleary, but just couldn't manage a victory over the Storm. The Bunnies will be revved up for this one at Homebush, but it is hard to see the Panthers losing another game this early in the season, despite all the changes to their line-up. There could be an upset on the cards here, but I'll stick with the Panthers.

Tip: Panthers by 8

PointsBet odds: Rabbitohs $3.65 (+11.5 $1.90) Panthers $1.28 (-11.5 $1.90)

Friday, March 28

Sydney Roosters vs. Gold Coast Titans

Titans: 1. Jaylan De Groot 2. Tony Francis 3. Brian Kelly 4. Phillip Sami 5. Jojo Fifita 6. AJ Brimson 7. Jayden Campbell 8. Moeaki Fotuaika 9. Sam Verrills 10. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 11. Klese Haas 12. Beau Fermor 13. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui Bench: 14. Chris Randall 15. David Fifita 16. Iszac Fa'asumaleaui 17. Brock Gray Reserves: 18. Arama Hau 19. Tom Weaver 20. Jacob Alick-Wiencke 21. Tukimihia Simpkins 22. Ken Maumalo

Officials
Referee:
Grant Atkins Touchies: Jon Stone, Chris Sutton Bunker: Liam Kennedy

Prediction: The Roosters had enough chances last week to beat the Warriors in Auckland, but just couldn't get the job done. The Titans bounced back nicely at home to beat the Knights. The Roosters are playing better than could have been expected considering the changes to their roster this season. I think they have been impressive enough to win this one.

Tip: Roosters by 6

PointsBet odds: Roosters $1.52 (-6.5 $1.90) Titans $2.55 (+6.5 $1.90)

Dolphins vs. Brisbane Broncos

Suncorp Stadium, 8pm (AEST)

Dolphins: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Jake Averillo 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Jack Bostock 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Daniel Saifiti 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Broncos: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Selwyn Cobbo 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Gehamat Shibasaki 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ben Hunt 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Patrick Carrigan 9. Cory Paix 10. Payne Haas 11. Jack Gosiewski 12. Jordan Riki 13. Kobe Hetherington Bench: 14. Billy Walters 15. Corey Jensen 16. Xavier Willison 17. Brendan Piakura Reserves: 18. Tyson Smoothy 19. Deine Mariner 20. Martin Taupau 21. Jaiyden Hunt 22. Jock Madden

Officials
Referee:
Liam Kennedy Touchies: TBA Bunker: Todd Smith

Prediction: The Dolphins really should have won their clash last week against the Tigers, but faded after halftime. The Broncos bounced back with an impressive all-round performance against the Cowboys. The Dolphins will be fired up for an upset here, but Broncos coach Michael Maguire will have his team prepared for any ambush.

Tip: Broncos by 12

PointsBet odds: Dolphins $4.50 (+13.5 $1.85) Broncos $1.20 (-13.5 $1.85)

Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero Bench: 14. Bronson Garlick 15. Alec MacDonald 16. Tui Kamikamica 17. Lazarus Vaalepu Reserves: 18. Kane Bradley 19. Marion Seve 20. Keagan Russell-Smith 21. Sualauvi Faalogo 22. Angus Hinchey

Officials
Referee:
Peter Gough Touchies: Drew Oultram Bunker: Kasey Badger

Prediction: The Dragons had a week off to regroup after losing their opening two games, while the Storm returned from their bye to beat the Panthers in a tough encounter. The Dragons are at home in front of a packed crowd for this one, but it is impossible to see them upsetting the Storm, even with Jahrome Hughes missing with a hand injury.

Tip: Storm by 16

PointsBet odds: Dragons $2.85 (+7.5 $1.95) Storm $1.42 (-7.5 $1.85)

North Queensland Cowboys vs. Canberra Raiders

Hudson Young 12. Matt Nicholson 13. Corey Horsburgh 14. Owen Pattie 15. Simi Sasagi 16. Trey Mooney 17. Ata Mariota Reserves: 18. Danny Levi 19. Jed Stuart 20. Pasami Saulo 21. Albert Hopoate 22. Adam Cook

Officials
Referee:
Adam Gee Touchies: TBA Bunker: Liam Kennedy

Prediction: The Cowboys looked much better last week in their loss to the Broncos and return home this week still searching for their first win of the season. The Raiders were blown off the park by the Sea Eagles in the first half, before regaining some control as Manly eased up after the break. This game will prove whether the Raiders are contenders or pretenders.

Tip: Raiders by 2

PointsBet odds: Cowboys $1.85 (-1.5 $2) Raiders $1.95 (+1.5 $1.80)

Cronulla Sutherland Sharks vs. Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs

Sharks Stadium, 7:35pm (AEST)

Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Samuel Stonestreet 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Kayal Iro 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Oregon Kaufusi 11. Josh Curran 12. Jacob Preston 13. Jaeman Salmon Bench: 14. Kurt Mann 15. Harry Hayes 16. Sitili Tupouniua 17. Kurtis Morrin Reserves: 19. Joseph O'Neill 20. Blake Taaffe 21. Jack Todd 22. Luke Smith 23. Jonathan Sua

Officials
Referee: Chris Butler Touchies: Phil Henderson, Matt Noyen Bunker: Grant Atkins

Prediction: The Sharks were methodical in dismantling the Rabbitohs last week, while the Bulldogs were unimpressive in their victory over the Eels. This will be a big test for both teams as they look to establish themselves as realistic Top 4 contenders. At home, with the Bulldogs missing some key players, the Sharks should win this.

Tip: Sharks by 12

PointsBet odds: Sharks $1.27 (-11.5 $1.85) Bulldogs $3.75 (+11.5 $1.95)

Sunday, March 30

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles vs. Parramatta Eels

Kitione Kautoga 13. J'maine Hopgood Bench: 14. Ryley Smith 15. Matt Doorey 16. Joe Ofahengaue 17. Dan Keir Reserves: 18. Sam Tuivaiti 19. Charlie Guymer 20. Joash Papali'i 21. Ronald Volkman 22. Jordan Samrani

Officials

Referee: Todd Smith Touchies: David Munro, Chris Sutton Bunker: Ashley Klein

Prediction: The Sea Eagles were back to their brutal best last week against the Raiders, despite missing Tom Trbojevic. The Eels were better against the Bulldogs last week, in what was a pretty ordinary game all-round. The Eels must show some pride here, but at Brooky we have seen what the Sea Eagles are capable of against more resolute defences. This could be ugly, especially with Turbo back at fullback.

Tip: Sea Eagles by 24

PointsBet odds: Sea Eagles $1.17 (-17.5 $1.85) Eels $5 (+17.5 $1.95)

Wests Tigers vs. New Zealand Warriors

Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Taine Tuaupiki 3. Rocco Berry 4. Ali Leiataua 5. Adam Pompey 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Luke Metcalf 8. James Fisher-Harris 9. Wayde Egan 10. Mitchell Barnett 11. Kurt Capewell 12. Marata Niukore 13. Erin Clark Bench: 14. Dylan Walker 15. Jackson Ford 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Leka Halasima Reserves: 18. Te Maire Martin 20. Jacob Laban 21. Samuel Healey 22. Bunty Afoa 23. Edward Kosi

Officials
Referee:
Wyatt Raymond Touchies: Jon Stone Bunker: Matt Noyen

Prediction: The Tigers were very good last week in the way they finished over the top of the Dolphins, while the Warriors played a tough game against the Roosters and managed to stay in it long enough to edge ahead late. The Tigers at home in Campbelltown will be truly tested by the Warriors, who should win if they are fully switched on.

Tip: Warriors by 8

PointsBet odds: Tigers $1.65 (-3.5 $1.95) Warriors $2.20 (+3.5 $1.85)
