THURSDAY, APRIL 15

St Kilda vs. Richmond, Marvel Stadium, 7:20pm (AEDT)

Team news: The Saints got through last week's stirring win over the Eagles relatively unscathed and have dropped just Ben Long (who may end up the sub). The Tigers have recalled Daniel Rioli and Kamdyn McIntosh, while Jack Ross (omitted), Josh Caddy (omitted) and Will Martyn (omitted) make way.

ESPN tip: Tigers by 20 points.

TAB odds: Saints $2.70, Tigers $1.45


FRIDAY, APRIL 16

West Coast vs. Collingwood, Optus Stadium, 8:10pm (AEDT)

Team news: Shannon Hurn missed almost the entirety of the Eagles' clash against St Kilda with a calf injury, and won't play this week, with Alex Witherden to make his Eagles debut in his place. Jack Petruccelle and Liam Ryan are also sidelined through injury. Meanwhile, the Pies will be without hard working midfielder Taylor Adams, who suffered a medial ligament injury, Mason Cox and Will Hoskin-Elliott, with the trio to be replaced by Mark Keane, Darcy Cameron and debutant Finlay Macrae. 

ESPN tip: Eagles by 19 points.

SATURDAY, APRIL 17

Western Bulldogs vs. Gold Coast, Marvel Stadium, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: Caleb Daniel's suspension has opened a spot at the Dogs for Round 5. Hayden Crozier will come in for his first game of the season after recovering from surgery on a shoulder injury suffered in a practice match against Melbourne.

ESPN tip: Bulldogs by 28 points.

TAB odds: Bulldogs $1.13, Suns $5.75

Sydney vs. GWS, SCG, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: Sam Reid will be able to return from suspension for the Giants, but many of the club's stars are still on the injury list. Sydney gun Isaac Heeney is expected to miss around a month of action with a broken hand, while skipper Dane Rampe will also miss this week with a broken finger.

ESPN tip: Swans by 18 points.

TAB odds: Swans $1.45, Giants $2.70

Carlton vs. Port Adelaide, MCG, 7:25pm (AEST)

Team news: The Power will be without impressive youngsters Xavier Duursma and Zak Butters after the pair picked up injuries in the club's narrow win over Richmond. Jack Silvagni suffered another shoulder injury in Carlton's win over Gold Coast and is also in doubt to suit up this week, though Zac Williams could be recalled.

ESPN tip: Power by 9 points.

TAB odds: Blues $2.20, Power $1.65

Brisbane vs. Essendon, Gabba, 7:25pm (AEST)

Team news: Both sides have extended injury lists but it's unlikely any key players will be recalled for this clash.

ESPN tip: Lions by 21 points.

SUNDAY, APRIL 18

Adelaide vs. Fremantle, Adelaide Oval, 1:10pm (AEST)

Team news: Rory Sloane is unlikely return to bolster Adelaide's midfield while Matt Crouch is still around a month away from playing. The Dockers could be set to recall a few with Stephen Hill, Griffin Logue, Lachie Schulz, Sam Switkowski and Darcy Tucker all a chance to play against the Crows.

ESPN tip: Crows by 5 points.

TAB odds: Crows $1.65, Dockers $2.20

Hawthorn vs. Melbourne, MCG, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: Melbourne's key defender Steven May will miss at least this week's clash after being subbed out of last week's game with an eye injury.

ESPN tip: Demons by 13 points.

TAB odds: Hawks $3.70, Demons $1.26

Geelong vs. North Melbourne, GMHBA Stadium, 4:40pm (AEST)

Team news: The Cats will be delighted to have Patrick Dangerfield back in the team after serving his three-game suspension for a stray elbow on Adelaide's Jake Kelly. Gary Rohan is also available for selection after serving a suspension of his own. Meanwhile, key forward Jeremy Cameron could play his first game in the hoops. North Melbourne will be without Cameron Zurhaar who is recovering from concussion.

ESPN tip: Cats by 45 points.
