Stocks up: Lachie Neale appeared to be battling early on against North, but the 2019 Brownlow Medallist showed why he's one of the most damaging players in the game. Neale did his best work in the second half to finish with 30 touches, 10 clearances, 10 tackles and a great goal.
Stocks down: If Keidean Coleman wants to stay in this Lions team, he can't afford another six-touch (at 33 percent effectiveness), one-tackle game...
Carlton
Stocks up: After being absent from the seniors for many week, Matthew Kennedy's return of 27 disposals, five clearances, and some much needed grunt in the midfield was exactly what the Blues needed. One of the few who can hold their heads high, Kennedy may find himself getting an extended run in the back half of the year.
Stocks down: He's been back from injury for three weeks now, but Jack Martin isn't doing enough to escape serious scrutiny. He had just four touches to half time and finished with 11, and hasn't kicked a goal in his last three games. Like many others at Carlton, he needs to show much, much more.

Stocks up: It's fair to say when Jake Stringer is on song, he's box office viewing. He was back at his bullocking, arrogant best on Sunday against the Hawks, and -- importantly -- once again looks fit. He tallied 29 disposals and four goals in a clear best-on-ground performance.
Stocks down: Just seven handballs and no kicks from Archie Perkins, who was mostly unsighted on Sunday. Perhaps it's time for a rest in the twos to find some form and footy.

Stocks up: Could it really be anyone other than Gary Rohan!? For the second time in his AFL career, Rohan slotted a goal after the siren to secure a win for his team. This time, it was a cracker of a drop punt from a 45 degree angle. Well done, Gaz!
Stocks down: The Cats will be thrilled to have banked the four points, but it came at a cost, with star midfielder Mitch Duncan suffering a knee injury in the opening term. Duncan is expected to miss around eight weeks of action.
Gold Coast
Stocks up: Just about the only positive the Suns can take away from the shocking loss to the Power was the fact Noah Anderson was able to rediscover some form. The young gun picked up 30 touches and five clearances, while also managing to gain 540m for his side. A much needed outing after a quiet month of football.
Stocks down: From a pressure point of view, Gold Coast was absolutely horrific on Saturday afternoon. The Suns allowed Port to take 112 marks, the second week in a row they've allowed such a number. Outside of Hugh Greenwood and Touk Miller, who combined for 23 tackles, there wasn't a Sun who laid five for the game.
GWS
Stocks up: There were really concerns over the Giants forward line when Jeremy Cameron departed at the end of 2020, but they continue to impress. Toby Greene and Jeremy Finlayson combined for nine goals against Carlton, while Harry Himmelberg also contributed two majors.
Stocks down: With travel from Victoria difficult and stopping visiting fans from making the trek to watch their side on the road, the lack of home town support for the Giants was glaringly obvious. A Saturday night fixture with their team knocking on the door of the eight, just 7,035 people turned up to watch the win.
Hawthorn
Stocks up: Veteran Luke Breust is still Mr. Reliable for the Hawks, who kicked 3.1 and had a direct goal assist from his 14 touches against the Bombers. He's got 23.6 so far this season and after is yet again on track to breaks the 30 goal mark, which he's done in all but one of his seasons in the AFL (in 2020 he played just 13 games and kicked 16 goals).
Stocks down: Is down back the best use for Shaun Burgoyne at this stage of his career? Seven touches and was outpointed too often. He's a lovely kick and a good decision-maker - get him ahead of the ball!
Melbourne

North Melbourne
Stocks up: Nick Larkey is hitting a patch of decent form for the Roos. He kicked 3.1 against the Lions to make it seven goals from his last three outings. If he can maintain this sort of 'two-goals-a-game' output, the 23-year-old will post a 30-goal season for the first time in his career.
Stocks down: Just six touches and no marks to Kayne Turner, whose spot in the side should come under question despite his admittedly negative role.
Port Adelaide
Stocks up: Once again, Ollie Wines stole the show for the Power. A career-high 43-disposal game against the Suns saw him continue his rich vein of form and is almost certain to have banked another three Brownlow Medal votes.
Stocks down: You'd have got great odds on Robbie Gray's stocks dropping after his 250th game, but an injury to the star Power player saw him subbed out of the game against Gold Coast. A huge shame for one of the game's most talented players, who may be set for some time on the sidelines.

Western Bulldogs
Stocks up: From a pure numbers point of view, it wasn't Josh Bruce's biggest game, but the big man battled well all night against a brilliant Geelong defence. Without forward line partner Aaron Naughton for the second half, Bruce kicked three great goals and loomed as a match-winner late.
Stocks down: We were critical of Mitch Hannan at the Demons and nothing has changed since he's crossed to the Bulldogs. Hannan had just six kicks and failed to kick a goal against the Cats. He's now managed just four goals in six games, which may not be enough to keep him in the side long term.
