South Carolina may not be the most talented state in the Southeast, but it's certainly noteworthy. There are seven four-star prospects in the state: athlete Tramel Terry (Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek), linebacker Ben Boulware (Anderson, S.C./Hannah), receiver Mike Williams (Santee, S.C./Lake Marion), defensive tackle Michael Hill (Pendleton, S.C./Pendleton), defensive end Jaylen Miller (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney), offensive tackle D.J. Park (Dillon, S.C./Dillon), and cornerback D'Andre Wilson (Myrtle Beach, S.C./Myrtle Beach).
There's even more depth with 11 three-star prospects, led by linebacker Jalen Stevens (Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek). The state is incredibly competitive in recruiting, with two prominent football programs, South Carolina and Clemson, vying for the best talent. Georgia, however, nabbed the top prospect in the state when it landed a commitment from Terry in March.
